: CEO says Rigla to relaunch outlets as malls recover

MOSCOW, May 25 (PRIME) -- Pharmacy chain Rigla, part of pharmaceutical holding Protek, will relaunch outlets as the COVID-19 restrictions on malls are removed and shopper traffic recovers, CEO Alexander Philippov told PRIME on Monday.

"The biggest risk is connected with the pharmacies located in malls. It is unclear how fast they will restart operations,” the CEO said.

“We will surely discuss problems with each leaseholder separately, will seek a solution. After the restrictions connected with quarantine are removed, some of the stores will open and some will have to go. It is unclear when the buyer will return there."

He also said that Rigla closed 17 pharmacies over the last month.
